About Bryce D. Peterson, CEO
Prior to founding the predecessor to Peterson Wealth Management, Washington Street Investments, LLC, Bryce Peterson served as an Assistant Portfolio Manager & Research Analyst at Auxier Asset Management, LLC, and as an Equity Research Analyst at D.A. Davidson & Co. At Auxier Asset Management he was the primary Research Analyst on the Morningstar 5-star rated Auxier Focus Fund, which achieved a ranking in the top 5% of the United States large cap value mutual funds during his tenure. In his role as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Auxier, Bryce was responsible for research and portfolio management for high net worth individuals.
Bryce's success continued at D.A. Davidson where his investment picks out-performed S&P 500 sector benchmarks by an average of 8.2%. Bryce specialized in four sectors - Financial, Energy, Utilities, and Consumer Discretionary. His 8.2% out-performance was achieved through an overall annual average return of 22.7% vs. 14.5% for the comparable S&P 500 sectors.
Bryce holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Master's of Science in Financial Analysis degree from Portland State University. He has been quoted in the financial press including Bloomberg Magazine, Bloomberg on-line and Reuters.
